Community Environmental Council's UC Climate Stewards Course
Our Spring 2022 course starts on May 4!
Nearly 50 individuals – ranging from college students to retirees – have become certified, actively advocating for climate solutions. CEC is the only Central Coast UC Climate Stewards partner, and we're quickly becoming a leader in graduates, about 20% of statewide alumni to date. This course is part of a statewide effort to build on-the-ground support to advance local and state climate goals, and we want you to be a part of it.

When
Class sessions on
Wednesdays, May 4 - June 29, 2022
6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Total course work is an approximate 40 hour commitment.
Where
Class sessions will be held via Zoom. We will also organize 2-3 in-person regional field trips on weekends for hands-on experience.
Cost
The fee for the course is $225 plus materials. Full scholarships are available to cover the course fee and required reading materials.
No one will be turned away for lack of funds.
