Solar SUNday is a free community event focused on energy efficiency, conservation, solar energy, and electric vehicles. It is hosted by CEC at the Santa Barbara Natural History Museum.
At Solar SUNday, you will directly connect with solar installers, developers, and manufacturers, and discover new ideas to green your home and business. Check out the latest technology and bring the kids for solar arts and crafts.
This year’s Solar SUNday event will include:
- Solar electricity and solar water heating experts
- Info on rebates and incentives for solar and energy efficiency
- Solar based art for kids
- Native American Sun Stories
- Local food from The Burger Bus
- New! – Electric vehicles so you can drive on sunshine
Solar SUNday Workshops & Guest Speakers
Come to Solar SUNday for informative workshops with renewable energy experts. This year’s workshop topics will cover:
- Discover how your home can make as much energy as you use
- Find out how to help pay for energy efficiency and solar upgrades
- Leave the gas station behind and drive on sunshine with electric vehicles
