Isabel Johanson

Outreach & Communications Intern

Isabel is a senior at Santa Barbara High School. As a resident of Montecito, her family experienced the effects of climate change first hand during the Thomas Fire and mudflow that followed. This experience has inspired Isabel to explore college programs with an emphasis on environmental studies, which she hopes to use to help mitigate the effects of climate change in her community. At CEC, Isa is assisting with the organization’s marketing and communications efforts.
