Alexis Rizo joined CEC as our Electric Vehicle and Education Intern. She has a B.A. in Political Science with an emphasis in Law and Public Policy and a minor in Philosophy from California Lutheran University. Before joining CEC, Alexis worked in city government and then interned for Senator Dianne Feinstein where she researched and tracked environmental legislation at the U.S. Senate in Washington D.C. In addition, she has a passion for environmental justice and continues to research the effects of pesticide exposure on farmworkers in her hometown Oxnard, CA. Alexis enjoys traveling, yoga, and watching sunsets on the beach.
