CEC, the Cachuma Resource Conservation District, the Carbon Cycle Institute and a robust team of partners (including landowners, NGOs, universities, private foundations, and state and federal agencies) are recruiting ranchers in the fight against climate change. Over the past few months, the team has outlined a pathway for significantly sequestering carbon dioxide from the atmosphere through climate-smart "carbon farming."
